Schedules. Plans. Date Books. Journals. Calendar Keepers. I’ve tried them all. Some I still use and others are just in a drawer or on a shelf somewhere. Not much into using the laptop for planning. I’m a pen an paper person. Being it’s January, I feel the need to reorganize since it’s the start of a new year.
One plan I made was to purchase a custom-made, piece of furniture from a local artisian/cabinet maker, Unique Woodworks in Sedalia, Missouri, and I couldn’t be more pleased! Thankful for a beautiful addition to my childcare setting! The children appreciate it just as much as we do. Our genuine thanks!!
See those file drawers? I can eliminate some clutter with those. Note to self: I don’t need to save files for over 7 years–just tax returns. Now I have the problem of finding baskets for each cubby (if I choose). Isn’t that a horrible predicament to have? Nope, I didn’t think so either 😉
I hope to create a new topper for this cabinet, i.e. table runner in the next few. As they say, time won’t wait so we shall see how that progresses. But for now I’ll share a “Simple Fruit Basket” mini quilt. Thanks for reading Inez’s Clippings.
Lovely mini quilt! Do you play mandolin as well as banjo? Stephanie, I’m nominating you for the Special Blogger Award. The nomination goes live Saturday, and the link will be http://arhtisticlicense.com/2020/01/18/special-blogger-award.

My youngest daughter plays the mandolin. I play violin some so could probably pick it up but just haven’t taken time to. (They have same string tunings) Thank you for the award. I look forward to seeing what it’s all about.
