Web of Post-Its
Of course we must have a Halloween theme! All stores display either candy for sale, Window decorations or costumes front and center, or all of the above.
So we go with the flow.
Jeanna, I’m still using those posters faithfully 🙂
Step 1. Draw a WEB
Step 2. Grab the bag of Post It Letters
Step 3. Save the Letters by picking one and naming it. (Mine were a little mixed up in the package so didn’t use all 26. Also we don’t want to overwhelm our mixed age group)
Other uses for The WEB in PreK
- Numbers
- Shapes
- Colors
- Answers to Addition or Subtraction
- Sight Word recognition
- Matching

Yard Art Royally
Every year its our tradition to set up a little Fall decoration on the front porch. To start I always employ the help of our little hands on deck.
#1 supply: Newspapers ….I happen to have a few with all the construction going on for packing away my china
Duck tape is a necessity in our neck of the woods.
The littlest hard-working hands unpacking that newspaper 🙂
So have you guessed our yard art creation??
Yep. It’s our very own Kansas City Royals Scarecrow! (Scooter has made quick friends)
