Taking you to Cole Camp, Missouri today for a simple post. One door but with three views. But first, just a little logistics with Cole Camp. It’s approximately 22 miles from Sedalia, my home. It’s downtown is on the National Register of Historic Places which dates around the later part of the 1800’s. This photo was taken on the outskirts of town.
I do believe we’re missing a door, some of the roof and siding. The square spaces indicate a need for ventilation. Not sure what storage this barn was used for but it has interesting traits.

That does it today and I hope you’ll take time to visit Dan at No Facilities for more Thursday Doors site-seeing. Entries are from all across the world.
that bard does have interesting traits and looks like it was loved on at one point – I could imagine someone reparing that roof and then feeling satisfied with the finished panels

Thank you! It was common to use tin siding at some point. Probably beats painting wood each year or two right? 🙂

Yes – and doesn’t rot like wood shingles can- but I am sure it has its drawbacks

These are great doors. The stories they could tell of their wonderful years of service. Sorry to be showing up so late.

Thanks and not a problem on your timeframe. We’re just now thawing out from a 10-inch snow. I figured you guys are getting the weather now. Hopefully springs sooner than later. I’m done! Lol

I love that photo with the silhouette of the tree. The dilapidated shed looks like its waiting for photographers!

That’s a great shed, and I agree that it’s just begging to be photographed in its humble, understated way. So much history there, and all around us just waiting to spin a yarn and tell their stories.
Hope you have a great week and thanks for popping by.
Best wishes,
Rowena
