Last weekend was for family. So I’m happy to say we enjoyed our mini get-together along with some good eats. The only thing we missed was having our eldest and her wonderful husband with us. But we will make it up in the future!! I used some AI to create a photo background. The jury is still out on whether I like it or not. But here ya go…..

In other news, I’ve had 3 requests online for various items. One person wanted a remake of a quilt I made in 2011-ish. That is a tall order when we don’t have the JO of Ann’s in business any longer. Nearly all of my fabrics used to come from there. Here’s the quilt mentioned.
Sometimes in quilting, it’s easier to move forward than backward when it comes to making items. Fabric patterns are updated every year and the old fabric becomes harder and harder to find. But a string quilt will be in my future plans, which is what this one is. So we shall see what a more up-to-date, String Shoefly Quilt will look like.
Have some photos of accomplishments over the past couple of weeks. All are now posted in the Etsy shop.

Hope you enjoyed the latest Sunday Sampler post. Looking forward to having you back again next week when I share more offerings from my sewing room!

Nice projects, and you are correct about the lack of local fabric. Great photo because of the smiles.
