This morning after church, I was checking all the creative stuff on the Internet and came across a freebie. I’m always ready to check out webinars that can sharpen my skills. And when they are free….. count me in! So to add to the attraction of this show was that it came as a tutorial-type that gives yet another way to use up scraps. Score! I also learned of a new online ‘guild’, but was deterred by paying monthly. In their defense it offered a lot of great information and many other classes at no extra charge. But I’m not sure I’d have enough time right now to spend on it. I struggle getting these blog posts done in a timely manner. ha
After all of that I did a search in my book stash for a particular set of books to use so I don’t have to buy yet another pattern. Found them and also came across this fabric I’ve had stored away for quite a good number of years. You may recognize these movie characters.
This batch of 3.81 yards is now a live listing in the shop. It would be wonderful for a child’s window treatment. Just sayin’. In fact, my hubby had Star Wars curtains when he was growing up.

Finally I’m rebuilding my supply of String Quilt blocks. These are 6 inch squares using yet more scraps from my never-ending pile. Actually, the scraps are dwindling slightly between hexies and these strings. And, yes, I do throw some things away. Except now that applique webinar has made me rethink that as well. Sigh!
