I have to take time to get some extra projects done in the coming weeks. So I thought today I would jot them down here for both my own accountability and for you to see why there’s not much new stuff getting listed in the shop. So here for your viewing pleasure:

Above I have the Long Slow Stitch project that is utilizing many scraps of fabric. I’m printing my own hexi papers on old daycare papers. You know, color & activity pages that are only printed on one side. I just hate to burn those when I can print on the blank side. I spent one evening last week outdoors burning 30 years of files from my home daycare days. So not saving everything. 🙂 Many thanks to my eldest for helping me out!! There were 4 boxes of files. So much written information and you can’t just plop these types of things in the trash can. It’s a daunting thing to let go of all those memories and her support meant a lot.

A blouse pattern and the fabric I’m using to create a summery garment. Looks loose enough for my taste. I finished cutting it all out yesterday, so will be starting construction later today.

These photos are depicting a Road Map Mat that I’m going to quilt for my great nephew who’ll turn 3 this coming August. Just around the corner!! (Thank goodness 3 year olds don’t read blogs or I’d have to keep this secret.) I chose Sporting KC fabric for the backing to give a nod to the World Cup games this summer. If you are guilty of having an abundance of Team fabric, here’s an idea to use it up. No copyright infringements when it’s a birthday gift.
