Hope everyone affected by the deep temperature plunges have a good warm place to be this weekend. Decided to add a simple photo of a place that had a brief run as a spot for carry out meals. The business right along US 50 Highway was called Broadway Carry Out Cuisine. It has since been sold and seems to be a private residence again. We just don’t eat out much as we prefer our own cooking the most. But I do wish the business would have lasted longer.

Not any frontage parking to make this accessible as a business in my humble opinion. But plenty in the back if you are living there. I love the wrought iron fence and welcoming lamp posts.
Hope you have a great weekend ahead and find plenty projects to keep you from getting cabin fever! Head over to Dan’s @NoFacilities for more wonderful doors from around the world. No cumbersome, heavy coats needed!

A beautiful house and photo. I agree, eating out is good, but, there is specialness to cooking and eating at home.

It’s sad that the carry-out business didn’t last. That looks like such an interesting place for a business, but I can’t imagine what they might have had to do to bring it up to Health Department standards. I hope someone with a lot of energy is living there — it looks like a great old home.
