Today’s doors are local ones. Had a waiting room view one morning and it happened to be worth that wait.

The view is pretty nice to be honest. Especially when the parking lot is fairly empty. (benefit of am appointments) So hubs & I decided to snap a pic or two upon our departure.

These doors are located on a portion of Broadway which is a main artery through Sedalia. I like the doors on the left best. It seems to me like the 2 dormers on the 3rd floor keep it all symmetrical and flows better. Also, I like the little decorative fencing and those lamp posts. Dear hubs ‘has memories of helping his father dig holes for those ‘adorable’ posts’. *his words with sarcasm inserted. So while they look nice, it is duly noted that these are not a DIY project in our future. To be completely fair, we have lights on our porch posts, so I’m good 😉
Hope you are good on my late Thursday Doors entry for the week. Dan has all the goods over @NoFacilities ready for your enjoyment so please take a moment to click on over there. Have a great weekend!

I like the view and perspective of the lobby door. Great gallery of homes. I love the one on the left, but you are right. The styles are similar.
Wonderful covered porches on both.
I like how you contrasted the modern doorway entrance with that of the Free-Classic Queen Anne vibe of the two homes. We’ll done.

I appreciate that very much! It felt like such a window to the past in some ways. Thanks for sharing your thoughts

Beautiful pictures and very nice doors. I agree with your choice between the two, although both houses are lovely.
I have replaced our post lamp four times, including two that I thought would be permanent. The first one got destroyed by a chunk of ice thrown out of my snowblower. Talk about the things you couldn’t do if you tried.

Thank you! & instances like that are typical Finnell luck around here. Murphy Law kinda stuff. God must have a sense of humor.
