I had a dilemma called not enough hands. Also not enough hands that can reach high enough. This was the case for me over the past weekend. But thanks to a visit today from the eldest daughter, I was able to combine extra hands using both daughters. Hence, I got a picture taken of the whole quilt top I’ve been working on since….. April. I asked on the Internet how other would feel about it taking this length of time to finish a queen size quilt top. The response was that it’s a normal pace to take anywhere from 15 to 100 hours of time. That is a wide range of hours. But when I was also told it takes others up to a year, I definitely felt better. Been there, done that. Below, I’ll refresh your memory with the purchased pattern pic and then my version of the finished quilt side by side.

It was kind of hot out in the sun for this photo op. Missouri is displaying humidity today in true form. So I did not have the heart to ask my girls to turn the quilt as it’s turned sideways. One tends to rush when hearing the phrase, “Just Take the PHOTO!” (At least the word damn was not inserted) No one really cares if these 2 photos match exactly, right?!
To conclude this Tuesday Threads, I’m sharing an attention grabber that today is my final day for the 25% off sale in the Katy Trail Creations Etsy Shop. As always, I include Free Shipping and everything ships within 1-3 business days. Hope you’ll take a look at what I have on the shelves.
