A B&B on the Katy Trail/ Thursday Doors

I have a doors post on a Friday this time. The past few days have kept me away from writing any posts. I am really going to have to learn to write ahead. But not yet. With the oppressive humidity and heat outdoors, I have decided it’s time to do some deep cleaning. Thankfully I have a few doors stashed away for such occasions.

The doors I’m presenting this week are from Pilot Grove, Missouri which is a sister community to Sedalia along the Katy Trail. A person could spend a great time getting doors photos along this 240 mile hiking/biking/equestrian trail. Maybe I’ll try this at some point. Until then, hope you enjoy the view of Katy Junction B&B as I captured it back in March of this year. I have looked up some info of this business to include as well.

The door is in the shade of the porch, but still visible.

This location has 5 bedrooms and most reviews state that the owner serves breakfast each morning. The Katy Trail is shown on the map below to give an idea of how far it is for hikers or bicyclists. Literally across the street! Lists free Wi-Fi, is smoke-free and has a 4.9 star rating. Quiet, small town vibes for a relaxing stay is how most folks describe it.

I’ve never stayed in a B&B and I have no personal experience with this business or its owner. Just sharing a little slice of Mid-Missouri for this week’s Thursday Doors entry. I encourage you to take time to stop over at our host Dan@NoFacilities for more door entries from around the world; a most enjoyable way to spend some free time!
