We have had so much stormy weather this past few days that it is truly a wonder I’ve been able to keep my sewing machines plugged in! Maybe most people don’t worry about lightning and power surges? Maybe most don’t unplug stuff? Unfortunately, I’ve seen the results and I just don’t have time or energy to spend on replacing machines.

But I am happy to say I’m caught up for this week on the Quilt-a-long I’m participating in. This quilt pattern is the American Heritage Sampler by Joan Sews. I’ll be tuning in tonight at 6PM Central time to Joan Sews on YouTube to see if she has any good pointers. Never hurts to learn something new, right? Following are some pics of block 1 & 2.
