Today Google says it’s celebrating the Route 66 Centennial. Have you checked out that icon of the day? So it seems appropriate to share a Thursday Doors that comes from back roads of Rural America.
I have shared the following barn quilt before (& the barn). But I didn’t have the surroundings. Dear daughter was focusing on different aspects than her mother. So this is the previously displayed Sunbonnet Sue Barn quilt & how it appears with its native backdrop. Enjoy!

I’m sorry for the dreary, leafless trees. But once the leaves are there, you won’t see as much. Later winter & very, early spring has its advantages.
Hope you’ll take advantage and visit Dan @NoFacilities for more Thursday Doors entries from all over! Also it’s the beginning of the Thursday Doors Writing Challenge. So much reading to look forward to in May! Check it all out!! Til next time,

Lovely rural shots, even with the winter trees. 🙂
