Has it been a year already?? Looking at the Thursday Door Badge above and it has me remembering a saying I heard once from my late Father-in-law….. “The years fly by but the days drag on.” Well, they drag on unless you’re having fun I would add. Glad to have another year of Thursday Doors under the belt and time to begin once again. Hope you’ll enjoy today’s pics. These were drive-by doors from mid-December on our way home from the Lou (St.Louis). When being tailed by another vehicle, the tendency is not to slow down too much for fear of causing their tempers to flare. People are so impatient these days. So this is my best attempt. But I was glad to capture the weathered screendoor on this old farmhouse. And the 3rd photo is just a bonus of a modernized barn door. Someone needs it locked up tight at night. I imagine a classic car in there or a cool woodshop. The only thing missing is a nice barn quilt front and center.
