The smoke from out west has made its way into Central Missouri this week. So the sky in the background gives a different element in my photos. The air quality here is usually bad enough once hay season comes around. The smoky atmosphere just adds one more dimension to those who struggle–children included. As if we didn’t have enough trouble already just worrying about the virus. My thoughts with those who’ve suffered losses on all fronts. Anyway, I hope you enjoy my contribution this week.

Approaching from the east. Maybe distant ‘door’ possibility?, but there’s one word to remember–ticks. It’s so rare to get a snapshot fully facing the sun.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you can take some time and visit our host Dan at No Facilities for more fantastic doors from around the world. He will show you the way. You won’t be disappointed.
You know I love barns. I really like the last photo, with the light seeping through the walls and lighting up the window.

Air quality is better but the heat is something else today. 95 and feels like 105. Glad for the air conditioning! Thanks for visiting 🙂

We had temp of between 85 and 87 a couple of weeks ago and it was pretty uncomfortable. The summers in Spain were nearer to your temp and I hated it. That’s one of the reasons I was glad to move back home, even though we have cooler, wetter summers here.

According to all the meteorologists it’s from the fires out West. Our air quality has been horrible for the area so guess it’s the weather front bringing it in.
