After a little detour to mend some jeans for a family member, Pictured below,
I got busy putting the main portion of my latest quilt together. Pictured below are some of the steps.

I have the Flying Geese border as well as 2 more borders to add on the edges. Yesterday was a stormy one around here. Outdoor photos were not meant to be. But I guess curiosity got the best of me because I asked Ai to lay my quilt out on a bed as it is currently.

I was pleased with the outcome, although, in true Ai style, I can tell the difference between my actual quilt and the computerized one. The positives: This is actually how much hang is over the edges on my own bed. So it did a very fair representation on that part. Also, I did Not have to stand on any furniture to hover over my own bed to get this perspective. Thank Goodness!! The negatives are that the top right hand block is incorrect. Also there is no binding on my quilt yet. But all in all, I’m happy that I have a way to share the progress with you here. The quilt is too big to hold up on my own with one person so I fully intend to corral some unsuspecting visitor to do the deed with me. (& Don’t ask me the measurements yet; I have no clue).
Thanks for dropping in for another episode of Sunday Sampler! Hope you will be back to see what all is going on in the sewing room at Katy Trail Creations!
