sheet met·al
noun: sheet metal; noun: sheetmetal
- metal formed into thin sheets, typically by rolling or hammering.
This week I have a few barns covered by sheet metal or partially covered. Repairs to old wood barns have commonly been made by attaching the metal to the wood. It can protect the wood and give the structure more stability thus saving it for a longer amount of time from ‘falling in’. Oftentimes, locals call them tin barns. If you click on the gallery below, pictures will expand for better viewing.

Doors are harder to see on my choices today. The last photo’s ‘door’ is blended into the siding, but it is there.
Hey, make sure you stop by Dan’s @NoFacilities to check out the Thursday Doors entries. You’re gonna be amazed by all the posts from around the world!
Til next writing, I’ll be in the sewing room readying the next project to share with you on The Sunday Sampler. Hope to see you again soon!

I love barns, and you have presented some beautiful examples here. The last one is awesome. Great share.
