The contribution this week comes from Freeburg, Missouri as the title suggests. It’s a small little town, population 437 in 2010, just south of Jefferson City. Named for Freiburg im Breisgau, an area of Germany that just happens to be where some of my ancestors hail from. Namely, the ancestors Inez (of Inez’s Clippings notoriety) descends from. Was just a drive thru that my youngest daughter made when taking these snapshots. So funny how connections can be made unknowingly. Hope you enjoy these photos of Holy Family Catholic Church.
My tractor-driving days can attest to this statement. Doors in threes. Glass details Can’t ask for a better backdrop.
Thanks for stopping in this week and I hope you will take some of your valuable time to visit Dan at No Facilities for even better door greatness. A wonderful way to take a virtual tour during a heat wave.
That’s a beautiful church! I love the glass detail. It is funny how these connections pop up in our lives. It’s nice to find a connection to the past, like this.
