Mini Quilts and Table Decor: Sunday Sampler

The Sunday Sampler Badge

Got part of an order in to work on replacing some items in the shop. The second portion will arrive this week sometime. I was a little disappointed to learn they slipped up and overlooked my order. But, the main thing is that my fabric is on its way. My fear was that they’d ran out. I would have been very bummed! Here are the replacements I’m working on.

The Kaffe Fassett fabric above has been popular and I’m liking how each piece has its own design. No-two-alike kinda vibes. I’m also pretty sure it will hide stains better than some fabrics. Cooking is messy, right?

And since last Tuesday was all messed up with the blown tire & getting home way later than planned, I will share a completed mini quilt that was supposed to be on Tuesday Threads. I think it’s going to make someone’s holiday table pretty adorable, even if I do say so myself.

I used my front door for the hanging version but I let Canva create the table scene you see on the right. It measures 18 wide x 17.5 long (inches). If you click the photo, it will allow you to see the quilting stitches better. It was a fabric donation from my aunt who likes to go to farm and estate sales. She is one of those enablers in my family who has always encouraged the creative side. Aunt Maybelle is pretty awesome!

Hope you enjoyed today’s Sunday Sampler. I hope to be back again Tuesday for more sewing room happenings. Til then, have a wonderful rest of your day!
