A Summer vs. Winter View

Thankful that seeing my own doctor is something that only happens once every 6 months or so! With that kind of timeframe, I thought it would be interesting to catch a glimpse of today’s Thursday Doors contribution in 2 seasons. I do not have much information on this little church. They don’t have so much as a FaceBook page as far as I can see. Just a lone, small congregation out along Highway 65, just south of Marshall, Missouri. And it’s on the way to the doc. For a clearer view, click each photo since the gurus at WordPress seem to think the bottom portions need blur added. (Sarcasm intended)

Lots of drive-bys in today’s batch of photos. But for some extra color, I have some stuff from my sewing room to share.

Hope you are seeing signs of spring wherever you live. We had 65 degrees at noon and by 4 pm it’s back down to 45. Dreaming of a garden walk for sure!

  1. I love the banjo tuner 😊

These are great photos. In recent weeks, I’ve repeated showings of several doors, but ones where I have never photographed them in winter. I like the contrast with the church.

Technical note: If your account arrangements with WordPress allow you to add Custom CSS, I can send you something to remove that blur. I have the CSS code you need and a PDF with instructions to follow. Shoot me an email if you want it.

  2. The banjo tuner got me! That church looks so different in the summer; it does not wear winter well. It’s a very brave little building. Your sewing room colors are very summery!
