Third in my Sainte Genevieve album is the Holy Cross Lutheran Church. This installment is equipped with a bit of a wow factor. You know, trying to save the best for last. Even though I loved all of the photos my daughter shared with me, you might agree with me on why I’m picking it as a great ending.

She didn’t get to see inside the church, but thanks to the wonderful world of the internet, I found a way for us to look at the fine details. They are proud of their church and you are about to see why. But first let’s see the exterior which show evidence of a well-loved church.

On the church website, they are quick to let you know that they appreciate their history but that they are Not a museum! They announce right away that they are a ‘Living and Active’ church. Love to see old churches thriving. But I wanted to share this next photo from their Facebook page because it is a beautiful feature inside the church.

I know they don’t want to be seen as a museum, but the forefathers had excellent foresight in obtaining this piece for the church. I was installed in 1950. If you wish to read more about the church, click here.
