Sunbonnet Sue/ThursdayDoors

After a very busy week, I’m returning to posting a Thursday Doors post. I’m pretty behind on life in general but on my future itinerary, there’s reading to be done. In particular, the writing entries for the Thursday Doors Writing Challenge 2023. With a road trip in my future, I look forward to doing some ‘reading for fun’ as my daughter’s call it. This past week was rife with dr’s appointments, visiting with family in for short stays, and a graduation. (And thanks to the happiness gurus here on WordPress for finding the missing post. Maybe I’ll elaborate on that later.)

In the mean time, I hope you will enjoy the doors I’ve complied to share this week. Two of the photos are mine. Watermarks are employed. The other 2 are from the wonderful world of FaceBook—giving credit where it is due.

Photos taken by my youngest and the final contribution of her barn quilt discoveries. Thanks once again to her saving the blog from lapsing.

Credit for the photos above are given to the Facebook page: Boonslick Area Tourism Council. I chose these for both the doors and the lovely quilts. The Sunbonnet above the triple door opening is slightly different from the one’s in the first set, but I know a little more information about them thanks to the link. If you care to see more of these lovely barn quilts, I would give the page a visit and enjoy more barn quilts from here in Mid-Missouri. I hope to have some more of my own mini quilts for sharing on the blog very soon. But they’ll be the front door variety. Hope you’ll check back on the progress.

This one’s for my hubs & his partners during his career 🙂
