In case you haven’t heard, the hubster and I have new grounds to cover for my Thursday Doors contributions. Out in central Kansas, 2 1/2 hours further in, and in many points in between. I hope when visiting to capture new doors for sharing.
Today we’re outside of McPherson, Kansas along Pawnee Road. We could see EV Lutheran Church in the distance across a field as we drove up towards Lindsborg on old US 81. So upon returning to our daughter’s place, we took a slight detour to catch a closer look. Back roads are always more scenic anyway! Hope you enjoy this week’s offering. To see better details, click a photo to get gallery access.
First, sharing the view from that set of front doors. More well-maintained up close than we thought we’d find. Stone Cemetery Gates Back of the church 2 East side doors Rare find. A see saw swing! Shaded stone gateway
Hope you have time this week to visit other door posts. Just click here and it will take you to Dan’s at No Facilities. He gives directions to find everyone. Hope you gave a great day!
That is remarkably well maintained, The photos are beautiful. I am always amazed (when I visit my brother in Iowa) how far in advance you can see what’s coming up.

Beautiful photos. I haven’t seen a see saw swing since childhood, we had one in our garden. I wonder why they went out of fashion.

Thank you! You could tell the swing had been there a long time. Couldn’t resist capturing it. Things come back around so maybe it will too eventually.

Everything about this takes me away from the here and now, especially that seesaw swing in that open place. Beautiful!
