Afraid of the Pop/ThursdayDoors

Finally got a reprieve and ventured out past the city limits last weekend! Happy Days! I do admit I like being at home a lot or I couldn’t tolerate the career path I’ve taken. But a girl can only take so much in the end. So a jaunt to Lawrence happened and we were pleased to visit a local museum. I have so many thoughts on the museum but I’m saving them for other posts. Today I want to show you a fun little soda shop!

Mass Street Soda looking out

Before I continue with the soda shop I have to share with you a little humour collected from my grandmother’s newspaper clippings. I’m multi-tasking again and many thanks for permitting me this addition to my Doors post. I think you’ll like it!

Grandma Inez’s collection

Situated next door was an ice cream shop. With the gorgeous weather, everyone was congregated outside enjoying some sunshine. So….I decided to embrace my introvert self and not take a photo of the store front. I’d already gathered enough for my own satisfaction so I hope you’ll enjoy the rest of my collection. Have a wonderful day and please take time to visit Norm 2.0 for more wonderful doors from around the world.

Thanks for dropping in!

    • I am not a fan of huge crowds. Never was into nightclubs or partying. Narrowed my date life a bit back in the day. Wouldn’t change a thing tho 😊

      • If that is what you mean with “introvert” than I am in your corner., although people think I’m an extravert. I like birthday parties, but not any other kind of partying. When there are more than 30 people, I won’t be there long:) My date life never worked out:) I fell in love with the first one, and married.
