Headed back to Cole Camp, Missouri for Thursday Doors this week. I still had some photos in my stash and hope you enjoy my experiments with filters in my choices.
Beginning with a slate filter. I personally like how it accents the missing panes of glass.
Why this filter is called Zeke I don’t know but it sure gives a feeling of yesteryear. I’d love a front door that wide along with those double screen doors! Can you imagine how many times the momma yelled to stop slamming those over the years??
Don’t step out this door without your ladder! The filter is called Napa and it brings out the peeling paint on that door’s window.
And yes, the propane line runs smack dab through that door. I had to get a close up just for myself.
Guilty.
The glow of those lights is the appeal for me to choose this version called Icarus. Remember Icarus flew too close to the sun and melted his wings? There was no threat of melting on this particular day I assure you with geese heading south along with the cold north winds.
Definitely watch your step on that one door. Interesting what looks can be achieved using some of those filters – nicely done 🙂

I like that second one, too, door, house, and all. Fun with the filters, too.
