Good morning from a cold central Missouri! Working up to this morning on lots of tasks around the house so blogging took a back seat until today. But today’s post is one I’m eager to share. The home, built in 1914, is a brick home with tiled roof. Original owner was also a banker so it kind of figures into Sedalia history as a significant house. A lot of movers and shakers of the day built their homes on Broadway, also known as US Highway 50.

I took this set of pictures on a drive-by and was intrigued with the shoveled path to the front door that sort of curves up to it. And there have been no tracks leaving this house from that garage in the back. I think I’d stay home too if it weren’t for trips to the post office. Our recent snowfall was about 4 – 5 inches depending on who’s measuring and I’m just wanting to hibernate til spring. Before I go, I found a little piece on FaceBook that was shared on this home’s history.
