Liberty Park Lights

Dear Readers, does your area have an area that stands out in Christmas lights each year? We are lucky to have one such place. Liberty Park is lit up each year by local businesses. Each year it seems to grow more and more. This one is no different. In fact, I’ll be breaking up this segment as it has become long for just one post. Hope you enjoy this week’s Thursday Doors enough to come back for more next time. So without further ado….

There is so much more to see as lighted displays line the drive all the way from the entrance to the end of the lane. I just chose a few to keep it simple. And the final photo is the brand new building to house the kid’s train for safe-keeping. One of Sedalia’s finer accomplishments lately. You can’t go wrong with making improvements for our local children!

I have a collage of potholders that seem to be finding favor in the shop these past couple months. Some are by my dear mother and others by yours truly. A couple in this collage are going to be listed later today, so check back when you can. Many Thanks to those readers who’ve supported the shop! Small business depends on great people like you!!

And remember, Christmas Calories Don’t Count!

  1. The lighted displays are beautiful. I will be back for a second helping.

There are two areas around us, Bright Lights in a park just outside Springfield, MA ir huge. We haven’t been for many years. The nearby trolley museum runs a holiday train under lighted tracks. Again, we haven’t been in a long time. Maybe it’s time to visit again.

  2. The displays are beautiful. Christmas is celebrated here, but it’s never a big show. Shopping Malls are beautifully decorated and ‘of course’ the supermarkets are stuffed with Christmas decor, goodies, toys etc. Real pine trees and filao trees are sold as Christmas trees. Lots of beautiful potholders!

    • Sorry I’m so late replying. Hubs had surgery this am. Was successful so now we rest him up for the weekend. Thanks so much for visiting and sharing about your beautiful part of the world!
