Finally! It’s October! I don’t know about you, but I have been eagerly anticipating this autumn. We have had a wasp issue in our back porch. Literally in. The potlights in the ceiling revealed 46 wasps dropping from its crevice at one ‘spraying’. Had I even remotely suspected this massive amount, I would have camera ready. Sorry, that didn’t happen. They are still trying to resume nesting. But our October weather is not yet cool enough to deal with it permanently. Stay tuned for the results. Dear Hubs has a plan.

Moving on to the Doors now. I have another Missouri barn for this week’s contribution. And it’s a drive-by. Lucky for me, the weather was warm enough to roll down the window on this one. No window means no glare. But it’s no guarantee for the best shots when in motion. Hope you’ll enjoy this one anyway.

Bet there are plenty of wasps, hornets & bees around this ol’ beauty. But that’s where they belong! (haha)

English Paper Piecing is a slow, relaxing way to end each evening while watching my favorite stuff on tv. Machine quilting them keeps them sturdy enough to throw in the washer. Batting between the layers gives them a nice texture with the loft it provides.
