It has been a hot minute since I’ve last posted. Health issues seem to be the plague upon my family for the past 2 years or more. So sometimes that requires stepping back from this or that. Blogging was affected this go-round. I am also trying to decide whether a step up in the WordPress realm is something I want to do or not. I’ll be comparing the benefits versus the drawbacks in the upcoming months. But until then, I’ll keep to my blog plan.
This week, I have a door to share that is definitely not as old as the home it’s attached to. According to Zillow, it is an 1870 home and I just like its simple lines.

It has been added onto at least once, but I just took the one photo for this Thursday Doors. If I had taken rear or side view pics, you would have had quite the eyefull of ‘stuff’. This person may or may not be a hoarder? But the home still stands with its wonky porch overhang and a good roofline. So maybe it’ll make it another generation or so. Maybe trim that tree up a bit at least?

Lovin’ the quilts.

That house certainly has seen better days, but it is still standing. I love the quilts. I hope you and your family can catch a break with respect to health, and soon!

Thanks! The house is related to a future doors post but it’s top secret for now. (Quilt related of course) Have a great weekend!

Earl Scruggs is mandatory but I also enjoy playing tunes tabbed out by Tom Adams, Janet Davis and Alan Munde. Then there’s the infamous Bella Fleck who is not of this world. lol

That home has quite a lot of character! If someone could fix it up, it’d be really nice. You and your family take care 😊

I think that poor house has a serious case of the wobbles. But I sure understand its appeal. Good luck with health and WordPress. Both can complicate life for sure.
