Bringing part three of Soulard District doors to you this week, as the title says. I am a bit tightfisted with my door share because my stash is a bit thin. These things happen this time of year and we of the Doors Crowd must get creative with our entries. But each one of these photos are great stand-alones even if I do say so myself. My daughter takes really good photos. There’s no bias here 😉 Part 4 coming next week.

The last photo is my fave. I love her shadow cast on the pavement, the extended view of building in each direction and the architecture of this grand old building. One to lure my gaze. It has that way of circling my attention back to the set of corner dooors. Yes, I’m a mom having a brag moment.
Throwing in a bit from the sewing of late. This is one of a set of pillow cases sent to my niece for Christmas. I’ll call them Sweet Dreams Pillowcases. Chocolate & flowers fabric; what more can a girl ask for?? I might make a pair for myself before spring gets here. Also made a pillowcase for my great nephew to hold his Letter to Santa. Hope they enjoy making this tradition memorable. Christmas is so much fun with young children!!

That’s a wrap for today’s Thursday Doors. Hope you’ll take time to visit Dan @ NoFacilities to see more door goodness from around the globe. I will be spending some much needed time this coming week catching up on return blog visits. I have been keeping watch over my youngest, today’s pic contributor, who had a rough stomach bug. Even my eldest and her beloved were down with the same thing 4 hours away. Hoping Ron & I avoid it altogether. He’s currently recovering from vaccines. Had his 3rd set of baby vaccines yesterday. Not so fun fact: When you have a bone marrow transplant, you have to completely reboot your immunity.

Nice doors. Hope the kids are all feeling better, and that your husband is doing okay with his vaccines. You could write a book on his journey, and it should have a happy ending.

I’m no author but we have a new support group. When Ron began the transplant process, our local VA had none…so no one who’s been there to ask questions. I think it’ll be a good way to pay it forward. We’ve truly been so blessed. Thanks for dropping by!

These are excellent doors. I love the corner door (those are my favorites). Your sewing is amazing. I didn’t know about rebooting your immunity. Am I correct in guessing that it’s harder on an adult that it is on children.

Of course there’s no bias! Just because she takes a fabulous photo of fabulous doors, and she probably takes after you, why should you be biased? I say take those bragging rights and sew them up. Beautiful handiwork. I hope that your family will be healthy soon.
