Christmas Doors 2024

2024 Badge

The suggestion this week for our door challenge was Holiday Doors. “Thursday doors with emphasis on holiday doors (whatever holiday you like”. I have to admit that Christmas decorating is my favorite. With a new kitten in our midst, though, we made a decision to leave the artificial tree in storage. We’re going to let the zoomies expire a bit before we tackle putting up a tree. But I did create a tree that she has not noticed. It’s not too important to her when there are squirrels, birds, falling leaves and cars to look at.

The smaller, shorter version

The jury’s out on whether I’ll make another one for an inside wall. I still have a couple weeks before Christmas so we shall see.

Around town we captured some evening lights. We like to drive through downtown after dropping off packages each night.

Doors aren’t really the focus in the photos above so hope you enjoy the window treatments. But moving ahead, I have a new shop item made by mother. It hangs on a hook, could hang on a door. Her first venture into the Chiefs realm so I hope you’ll give it a bit of your kind attention. She says it’s all she’s making until after the Holidays so hopefully it’ll end up under someone’s tree for Christmas!

Extra Large Plastic Bag Holder and a little holiday music as well. 15 seconds & Done. Just like all the last plays of their football season this year. haha

Thanks for dropping by and I hope you have a great week! Please take some time to visit Dan @NoFacilities for more wonderful doors! I am sure there will be some really lovely seasonal and non-seasonal contributions.

Ron passed with flying colors 😉

  1. Good choice to keep the larger tree away from the new kitty. When we had little ones, they loved climbing in the tree and trashing the ornaments. Great photos, and I love the banjo music (but I’d prefer a Steelers. bag holder).
