One thing you can be sure of on this blog, I keep it short and to the point. AI would love to make my posts eloquent and lengthy but I choose to be myself. There are great things that the AI computer form can do for the English language, I’m sure. But other than spell check and synonym searches, I’m just not going there. I compare it to paintings, quilting, crocheting. There are just some things that are best left to human abilities. And this week, speaking of human abilities, I have a lovely new mural in my hometown to share.

Sunflowers, pets & butterflies under a blue sky. Hope we get more murals around here to brighten up spaces.
Glad it’s Saturday and time for me to slide my Thursday Doors post into the slot over at Dan’s No Facilities. Been a busy week organizing fabrics, and sitting behind the sewing and quilting machines. And then we have whole days at the hospital where I keep my crochet in hand. Hope to share some photos next week of my accomplishments. And as always, I encourage your visits there to see all the Door entries. The best way to travel the world and view it as the locals do.

I agree 100% about AI. I never, ever use it because I want my writing to be my own, warts and all! And beautiful mural. I grew up in Kansas so have a special place in my heart for sunflowers!🌻

The mural is beautiful! Perfect or not, the real thing is the best. Whether it’s writing or craft.

AMEN to your thoughts about automated thinking. I want the real thing too. I planted sunflowers for the first time this year; they aren’t the big tall ones, but they are the biggest show-offs in the front yard! They are well named!

I missed my wall of sunflowers this summer but I did get one straggler somehow. It was not the dinnerplate variety but it has several blooms and even surviving our lack of rain lately. So hardy! Thanks for sharing 🙂
