During the month of April, I’m participating in the Blogging From A to Z Challenge for my 4th year in a row – 3 of which are on this blog. Each day, except Sundays, there will be a post for the letter of the day as well as keeping with my personal theme of Quilts and Quotes. Feel free to leave a comment! I’d love to hear from you! Also check out the other A to Z’ers in the comment section of the Official A to Z Blog Page.

Truly this above picture doesn’t do much justice to a completed block. But the plus of this block is that the pattern makes 2!
The baby bunting block symbolizes being wrapped up and swaddled. I chose this one to represent the dozens of infants I’ve cared for in the last 23 years as a childcare provider; not to mention the extra years as a mother and aunt. I’ve been so blessed to care for so many infants over the years and I consider this a true gift from above.

Join me again tomorrow for more of the April A to Z Blog Challenge 2017!
People who quit are quite impressive. 🙂 I helped out a tiny bit with a quilt once or twice growing up, and it takes a lot of patience!

The quilt is beautiful. I have no artistic talent, so am always impressed by those who do.

I have a hard time seeing what the whole can be from just a few pieces, so I admire your ability to turn small pieces into a beautiful quilt.

Any form of art is equally impressive for me. The quilt is really beautiful. I admire the way little pieces are put together to make such a beautiful art piece. Gald to have visited. Happy A-Zing! 🙂

I haven’t ever made that block. Will give it a try…. going on my one day pile (its getting quite high that pile) You are going to have a lovely quilt in the end. Are you sewing each day or did you sew ahead? I did with mine as I am going to be travelling a lot this month and was terrified I would get behind or fall away completely. Truth to tell I am up to putting the binding on mine. That is tomorrow’s job I think… B is for Binding (only it will be D by then)

I am sewing ahead and I’m sure there will only be a quilt top to show in the end. But I like to hand quilt every other one so it will be something that I’ll be ready to bind by Christmas?? Hopefully before that but I always underestimate myself so I’m not so frustrated with time. 🙂 Getting behind on the A to Z is a real threat. I’m not an overachiever but I definitely would be dissappointed in myself if I didn’t get all the blocks done in time. See you as we ‘quilt along’ 🙂
