Through Rainy Windows

Presenting another door this week between rain events. Or at least kinda. You’ll notice the windows are not quite dry. But I managed to get a few drive-by pics for sharing. Hope you can handle the drops here and there. If you click each photo in the gallery, you’ll get a full view rather than the squished version.

Grace United Methodist Church in St. Louis, Missouri, deserves a better showing than this one, but the weather had other ideas (as I keep mentioning). Funny that its address is on Waterman Avenue. According to what I discovered, this building was once over on Lindell Boulevard across from the Cathedral Basilica until 1913 when it was deconstructed stone by stone to the present location. I think of all the numbers that must be written on each stone to get it built back just right. What a determined undertaking by a congregation! But to be fair, at the time the church was only 21 years old. Pretty new for church standards. So good on them being so resourceful!

Thanks for dropping by this Thursday for another Thursday Doors! Please take time to stop over at Dan’s @NoFacilities for more wonderful door entries. Also there are a few days left of the TDWD (Thursday Doors Writing Challenge). Click either of the links and you will find some great reading!
