I seem to have accumulated some projects the past few weeks that need to be finished. The tale that these items tell is how much time I’ve had at a sewing machine versus time to spend on hand sewing. So with more hand sewing at the top of the list, here are some photos to show you.

On the left, there’s a haypenny runner and below it a scrappy runner. Both need batting and backing. I’ll be auditioning borders for them as well. On the right is a work that’s been ongoing. I keep running out of white hexies. So……
I’ve paused the flowery runner to prepare these bad boys. White hexies will most likely be subject matter for me for quite a long time as I have so many scraps to put to use. I keep finding cool projects like this next one…..
As for the rest of my photos to include this writing; in no particular order.

Starting on the left, The Doohickey, as fondly named by our friends at Quilter’s HQ in Olathe, Kansas, is also called the Multi-purpose Finger Presser Tool by Tooltron. It saves my fingers from having to finger press and it truly does a great job. My ironing board is a topic for another day. So Doohickey it is! Also the flowers are yet to be inserted so there they are, waiting patiently for me. And finally the Pic of the Day — The thread for my Valentines’ Day treat! Grand slam by my dear hubby!
