Sometimes ideas come from places you’d least expect.

For me, there was a nice burst of interest from the puzzle above. There are the different patterns, the color combinations and the little details in the fabric designs in each block. Just some food for thought in case the usual Pinterest visits aren’t working for you.

Above are some past scrappy-runners I used to create some current projects. I had a lovely little Charm pack (below) called ‘Parlor’ from Moda that I needed to decide how to arrange. This fabric combination is a very bright & colorful one.

Using Hourglass Blocks seemed to work out. When the fabric comes in 5-inch squares, your methods to use them are a little bit more limited.

Final product that was gifted to my daughter & son-in-law for Christmas. I hope you enjoyed this week’s Sunday Sampler!
