Barns and a Purple Quilt

It’s winter in Missouri but today we are at 60 degrees. All the snow is gone–at least for now. Saw thousands of snow geese on Monday and now wish I had a good Thursday Doors photo to show of that spectacular view. Instead, I took in the whole moment because it’s just such a sight to behold. But trust me when I say spring is on its way.

Barn quilt is courtesy of my youngest daughter’s excursion between snow events. We’ve been fortunate to have it melt off three times this winter. That’s how it works here in the middle of the US. We get a little of everything most of the time. Finally, we’re out of a drought according to the latest. Good news for farmers!!
