Sharing a little variety I collected before and after the Kansas wedding in October. I’m happy to say that once more, Youngest Daughter helped in the collecting. My young padawan has been trained well. 🙂 So I’m starting with her contributions and adding a couple of my own afterwards. Hope you enjoy our offerings for the week.

I hope you enjoyed the former church, saloon & homestead. If you like the topic of doors, please head over to Dan’s @ No Facilities and see what else is being shown this week. Lots to see!
Banjo tune in the following video “I Saw Three Ships”. Yes, you can always turn down the volume 😉

Delightful

Those weathered wooden doors are fantastic, a beautiful contribution. And the church is welcoming as well.

These are great photos. I love the weathered double doors at the end of that first set. I also enjoyed the banjo music. Thanks for joining us this week.

Thank you! Those doors were a great capture by my girl. My music is copyright free so more accessible for me. lol

A door-loving family, like mine. I really enjoy when my daughter joins in and sends me photos of doors as well. An old church would be a wonderful place to fix up and live in, I think. Beautiful shots!

Banjokes! Of course! I loved your rendition of “I Saw Three Ships,” and I was astounded to hear what sounded like trills, but maybe they’re called something else in banjo parlance. Anyway, a real treat. As is the barn eye candy. Space to take a breath! The Happy Swede Ice Cream Saloon is calling to me. Thanks for all!

Thank you for all the pats on the back ☺️ & it is a trill but it happens with a ‘hammer and pull-off’ combination. Pianos have it easy I guess lol

Compared to “hammer and pull-off,” yes, pianos have it easy! Very cool sound.

The church doors look like they’ve seen better days, yet somehow still look good in one way.

I’m hoping they’re mid-renovation as they deserve saving.
