I have some ‘comic relief’ for my Thursday Doors contribution. But you can thank me later that I am not the author for the humor. I just take the photos. You are welcome. But the following daily messages give me a smile to start my mornings. And the coffee is pretty darn good too.

There is a door in the above photo that opens to place the coffee packet. Snippet: there was a morning when I arrived to brew myself a cup and the only coffee available was Decaff???!!! A person apparently decided they needed to take all the boxes of coffee (& sugar packets) home with them. Without permission, naturally. So, how do people sleep at night after stealing from a charitable organiztion?! Baffles my mind!

Such a simple thing to start the day with a smile when so many are facing big life challenges here at Hope Lodge. Hope you enjoyed my ‘door’ contribution and take time to visit Dan @NoFacilities for many more contributors to this weekly challenge.

Best door of the day as I sit enjoying my morning coffee. Great machine! ☕️❤️☕️ I hope and pray things are going just as planned and hubby is doing well. I’m not sure how someone would sleep after stealing from a charity, but I guess it starts with not having any sense of being responsible for their actions which sadly seems to be rampant right now.

It is very sad. They talk about people stealing toilet paper (pandemic) and a play station donated by the St Louis Blues after they won the Stanley Cup. Boggles my mind! And Ron is not doing too bad. It is a long healing journey and just trying to hold on to each glimmer. They add up ☺️ Thanks for asking!

A person caught stealing coffee (especially from a charity) would not want to find me on their jury. I hope your husband is doing well. Thanks for sharing the humor. I particularly like the Monday morning hierarchy. Great banjo humor, too. I hope you have a nice easy weekend.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Always appreciated! And yep Ron’s on track even though it’s the slow train. But we’ll take it.

Thanks so very much! Saturday is an infusion day but at least it’s a short one.

Leaving the decaf is particularly heinous. Blessings to you and Ron.
