During the month of April, I’m participating in the Blogging From A to Z Challenge for my 4th year in a row – 3 of which are on this blog. Each day, except Sundays, there will be a post for the letter of the day as well as keeping with my personal theme of Quilts and Quotes. Feel free to leave a comment! I’d love to hear from you! Also check out the other A to Z’ers in the comment section of the Official A to Z Blog Page.
A tribute block for Letter E is created in the “Envelope” block. It’s for all the penpals and friends/family I’ve sent and received snail mail and/or email over the years. I’ve always seemed to have at least one penpal. It was my letters to my cousin written in short hand that stand out the most in my memory. We didn’t want our mothers to read our deepest, darkest secrets. But there really weren’t very many. tee hee We were just flexing our literary muscle.
“Getting snail mail is one of my favorite indulgences, and I think receiving mail is actually a common joy.” Mary Lambert Singer/Songwriter
My sentiments exactly.
Join me again tomorrow for more of the April A to Z Blog Challenge 2017!
It took me a second, but then the design jumped out at me. It is so special to get a letter in the mail. I still have many of the ones I’ve received over the years.WeekendsInMaine

I know what you mean. Some blocks have to be studied a minute. Thanks for visiting. I’ll stop by your blog soon 😊

Love the idea of this one. Not many letters come by post now but they are exciting when they do come, especially handwritten ones.
