In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Ornate.”
My crochet spot.
I got to pick out this ‘ornate’ fabric when I purchased this recliner. The throw is for some chilly nights we’re about to have thrown our way.
My evenings aren’t’ complete without a pair of glitzy, over-the-top house slippers.
Tonight’s choice was the ruby red.
In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Treat.”
Indulging in a little crochet this weekend,
A little prep for more crocheting,
Hemming some jeans (I’m short),
And being the recipient of this ‘treat’ from the hubby.
The Royal treat would be to see my Boys in Blue win the World Series. (That’s Herrera after striking out Murphy in the 8th inning)
Time will tell…….
Mundane and meaningful objects. Beautiful everyday things. This week, surprise us with something or someone (extra)ordinary.
This week I’m sharing my Extraordinary daughter in her violinist role in the Sedalia Symphony. Last night was the opening of the 81st year of performances. Since no flashes were permitted, I decided to play with colour and have a little fun with my pic.
Too bad there’s not a challenge for Sound.
They were truly (Extra)ordinary!

Sometimes even a night of crochet can’t recharge my battery. But a night by the fire will sooth the soul.
