Perusing the archives this month before I dive into sharing newer door acquisitions. Figure now’s a good a time as any being winter has finally decided to stay awhile here in central Missouri. So from Cole Camp, Missouri, I have a set of doors for you. However, the window message that came with this Thursday Doors search back in May of 2019 can be just as appreciated in January of 2020.

Love the optimism of these folks! Summer is inevitable and I’m glad because cabin fever has hit with the children. Prayers and support much appreciated at this dire time. We still have February and March to survive.

The above business was originally Wright Butcher Shop c.1895 and on the National Register of Historical Places. I tried getting a good view of the plaque but that thing called blur happened. Note to self: I really need to start carrying the ‘real’ camera.
And below is one more view of the street looking west from in front of these doors.

I thank you kindly for dropping in! Please take a few moments to visit Norm 2.0 for more wonderful Thursday Doors from around the world. There is so much to see!
Looking at that sign, it would take me a while to get off that street. Great doors !

Lovely shots. Yes “Summer is Coming” is what I tell myself around this time of year to keep from going stir crazy. It helps that the days are getting noticeable longer too 😉

Many thanks for telling the truth about my post about child sacrifice, Kathy! It took a lot of thinking how to present it in a non-judgemental tone. Me thinks we are not far from Roe versus Wade to be overturned again.
If I can get one or two to see the error of their way, it has been worth it:)
Door 113 is so heartwarming and cute:):)

Lovely photos, fab old ‘butcher’s’ shop. Hope the cabin fever has eased off a bit, I know what that’s like.

Thanks! Doing some extra planning for the next week in case of cold 🥶 temps. But praying for tolerable outdoor play temps simultaneously 🙏🏻🙏🏻
