Sugar

Grandma

This is the person inspiring my next quilt. She’s my grandmother and I am positively certain the quilt block would have had her approval. She nicknamed everyone and mine was “Sugar”. I don’t hear many people call me that anymore. I’m now Steph, Stephie, Stuff, Teffie, Nini, and any other way a young child can pronounce my 9 Letter name. Thanks mom 🙂

But here are a few options for that sugar bowl pattern from Pinterest.

shelsbrokensugarbowlTitled ‘shellsbrokensugarbowl’ respectively but not into much broken things right now. Currently listening to a dripping faucet that may become more “broken” (with a sledge hammer) in the very near future.

And finally we come to the one I feel fits the bill. (from Judy Hopkins 501 Rotary-Cut Quilt Blocks).

So now we wait on the dryer to finish with the chosen fabrics……..
